Personal best list of 2011
I was complaining earlier that 2011 had been a really bad year for me, because, in some ways, it, indeed, was. But, tumblr, as many times before, called me out on my shit and remembered me of what I keep forgetting - stay posi. So here it goes, something I would never do:
(in, kind of, no special order)
- finishing my masters with the best grade I could get and without surrendering the things I believe in;
- doing projects with my friends and not be afraid to be ridiculous;
- working as a teacher and meeting awesome kids;
- working hard at maintaining friendships with people I love;
- being brave enough to apply to film school on the other side of the globe with no one I know;
- getting into film school;
- going to Madrid, twice, and having an awesome time with people I love;
- meeting new people, fighting bullshit from jerks, still staying true to myself;
- making new friends;
- learning a new language;
- making (wanna be) movies;
- you.
